Halifax Choral Society is proud to be one of the pre-eminent names of the UK choral tradition. The choir celebrated it's bicentenary season in 2017 - 18 with a full programme of concerts including a new full-scale oratorio commissioned from composer Philip Wilby and then celebrated it's historic 200th performance of Handel's Messiah in November 2018.
