Angus Jackson directs this live performance of Shakespeare's tragedy recorded at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford-Upon-Avon. Andrew Woodall plays the role of Caesar as he triumphantly returns to Rome following the war against Pompey. However, with some senators fearing that too much power is held by one man, Caius Cassius (Martin Hutson) secretly plans to have Caesar assassinated. The cast also includes Marcello Walton, Alex Waldmann, Jon Tarcy and Dharmesh Patel.
