Convinced that Blackjack Chancer is behind the death of their youngest brother, Lukus and Kris Rheingold devise a plan. Lukus steals the Saturday-night takings from Chancer's casino, Wasteland Eldorado, and Kris outwits the Marshal and the Wasteland posse as they track him. The Rheingold brothers head for home, followed by the mysterious Lil Lavender, and later by Chancer and his hired gun, Fallon. All three have their reasons for hunting Lukus - and the hunt leads to a final bloody climax in the Rheingold family cemetery.
