Biography/History:
Cathy Hopkins lives in both with her husband and cats. She had a varied career before she settled down and became a writer. She trained to teach art, sang with a rock and roll band (Driving Rock and the Rockettes), worked as an occupational therapist, script writer and reader, newspaper reviewer on Sky News, and an aroma therapist – most of the jobs were to support her writing and in 2000, she was finally able to work-full time at the job she really loved. So far she has had fifty books published (so must be doing some work in between emails and surfing the net). She is published in twenty-six different countries around the world and has sold over four million books since she started writing for teenagers.
