Abstract: When the little crook, Spider Morgan, bursts into Victoria Lincoln's office, he's being followed - and his life is in danger. She lets him hide in her office strongroom and soon two bogus police officials pay a call. They question Victoria about Spider, but she sends them on their way. The next day she learns that Morgan has been beaten senseless and left in a coma. Then after her office is burgled - Victoria and her staff are being followed...
