Carey Mulligan stars in this dark comedy thriller written and directed by Emerald Fennell. Still living with her parents and working in a coffee shop, 30-year-old Cassie (Mulligan) is haunted by a traumatic event from her past which led her to drop out of medical school. In search of revenge, Cassie spends her nights feigning drunkenness and vulnerability before turning the tables on her eager male suitors. However, following a chance encounter with her former classmate Ryan (Bo Burnham), Cassie begins to question her vengeful habit. The cast also includes Alison Brie, Clancy Brown, Jennifer Coolidge and Laverne Cox.
