Abstract: Maria Price has inherited a large house in the best part of Manchester and more money than she ever dreamed of. Orphaned at age eleven, she has survived the care system and thought she would never know family or security again. Then she meets, handsome, considerate and charming Joel Parry. And he just happens to need a place to stay. Before long, Joel has moved into Maria's new house and is happy to help her spend her money. But Joel is not all he seems.
