When a young girl is forced to flee her home country with her parents, she retreats into herself until the kindness of a neighbour who buys her a bicycle brings her out of her shell. For generations, Mevan and her family lived in their beloved Kurdistan. But when they are forced to flee by the Iraqi government, Mevan must leave everything behind.
