Summary

Anita, a confident, westernised Indian woman living in Milton Keynes, spends her days teasing her mother and laughing about marriage traditions with her sister. Until one day, she finds her perfect match; a classically handsome Indian man called Khush. Instantly she falls for him, and although his love is intense, Anita knows her love is real. Once married however, her husband's true colours come through, and along with his family, Khush makes life difficult to endure and controls her freedoms under the constraints of being a good wife.
