And sometimes I wonder about you

Mosley, Walter2016
Book
In the fifth Leonid McGill novel, Leonid finds himself in an unusual pickle of trying to balance his cases with his chaotic personal life. His father is on the run and his wife is in an uptown sanatorium trying to recover from a deep depression that led to her suicide attempt. Meanwhile, his wife's condition has put a damper on his affair with his girlfriend and his son Twill has been spending a lot of time out of the office with his own case, helping a young thief named Fortune. On the professional side of things, Leonid is approached by a small profile office manager to track down a long-lost cousin, who is about to inherit millions. Leonid declines the case but after his own office is broken into and his potential client is found dead, Leonid finds himself drawn into the underbelly of a wealthy old-money family, with terrifying results.
