In the Prophet's garden : a selection of ahadith for the young

D'Oyen, Fatima M.2002
Book
Strictly speaking the hadith is that which is transmitted on the authority of the Prophet. It is used in a broader sense to narrate the exploits of his companions and successors. This children's book includes a selection of ahadith that convey the essential guidelines that Islamic followers should adhere to. This is a collection of two hundred ahadith (sayings of the Prophet Muhammad) taken from authentic sources. The book is thematically arranged in twenty-nine short chapters to cover essential Islamic teachings on faith, religious practices, morals and manners, character, and conduct. Aimed at children and young people from the age of ten onwards, this book also forms a suitable general introduction to the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad for people of other faiths and those new to Islam. A colorful presentation with images, Arabic narration, and English translation.
