The material in the pamphlet is taken from a number of sources, but mainly based on a paper by Mr.H.Armitage and Mr.D.Taylor on 'The North Bridges of Halifax' read to the Halifax Antiquarian Society. The present North bridge was opened on 25th October 1871. Also includes illustrations showing North Bridge completed in 1774 and North Bridge completed in 1871,and a photocopy of a page of 'Bradshaw' railway timetable for April 1910 showing the trains using the line through North Bridge to Queensbury.
