'Deliciously British... This cozy didn't just charm me, it recruited me... I laughed, I gasped... I devoured it... Can't wait to see where the "Piddlington Gazette" goes next.' NetGalley Reviewer, ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ The start of a hilarious British cosy crime series set in Dorset, perfect for fans of Richard Osman, The Reverend Richard Cole and Ian Moore! It's all kicking off in Piddlington Minster... Harry Hedges is a desperate man. Desperate to be a journalist again. Desperate to pay off his overdraft. And desperate to find a decent coffee. In a paper cup. With a lid on. There's not much chance of that in Dorset, where he's trying to revive an ailing weekly newspaper and claw his way back to journalistic civilisation, after losing his swanky London job. All he has to do is take on the town busybody, locate his proprietor's lost sister, and help solve the mystery of the body on the roundabout. How hard can it be? With a news-team that includes a Gen-Zer with a secret, a truculent pensioner and a flea-ridden Labrador, the answer is: very hard indeed... Readers love The Body on the Roundabout! 'Harry may be my new favorite main character. Lots of humor, a well plotted mystery and just enough twists to take me to an end that was perfect... I highly recommend this book!' NetGalley Reviewer, 5 stars 'Already I can't wait for book two... I thoroughly enjoyed every word... and Ignatius is just brilliant.' NetGalley Reviewer, 5 stars 'Fresh and charming entry in cozy mysteries-an especially promising start to the Piddlington Gazette Mystery series... this book is going to win over fans of humour, small-town intrigue, and endearing characters.' NetGalley Reviewer, 5 stars 'Great story full of amusing and lovable characters, cranky pensioners, hoarders, and one very attractive policewoman... A thoroughly enjoyable mystery.' NetGalley Reviewer, 4 stars 'What a brilliant light-hearted crime novel. Set in Dorset, I'm sure the author visited so many villages to hone her characters. It's humorous, fun... Loved it.'
